As a community-based humanitarian organization, the American Red Cross of South Florida prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
We respond to emergencies and disasters across the region from home fires, floods, weather-related events and more by providing shelter, meals and emotional support at no cost to those in need. Read more about the Red Cross mission.
