Welcome to the American Red Cross of the Northern Valleys

The American Red Cross Northern Valleys Chapter is dedicated to providing resources and assistance to the community through our five lines of service: We shelter, feed and provide comfort after disasters; supply about 40% of the nation’s blood; teach skills that save lives; provide international humanitarian aid; and support military members, veterans and their families. The chapter serves more than two million individuals in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys.

Bee Kong

Interim Executive Director, Northern Valleys

In the Spring of 2021, Bee Kong rejoined the Los Angeles Region as Regional Volunteer Services Officer (RVSO). Bee first came to the Red Cross as a youth volunteer in 1998 at the then-Greater Long Beach Chapter and became a full-time employee in 2005 after graduating from UCLA. During the past 24 years, Bee has served in various roles on the Los Angeles Region team from managing volunteers to organizing youth programs. He also worked on the national Volunteer Services team from 2017 to spring 2021 as a recruiter, actively searching for highly skilled volunteers to support our corporate departments.
