What is a Hometown Hero?

Each year, we recognize remarkable individuals who have performed extraordinary acts—whether by saving lives or embodying the spirit and mission of the American Red Cross in other meaningful ways. 
 

Hometown Hero Criteria

Nominees must live or work in Los Angeles County, although their heroic acts may have taken place elsewhere. 

Nominations are now closed, and we are gearing up for an unforgettable celebration honoring extraordinary individuals from across Los Angeles County.
