Red Cross Clubs are officially recognized organizations on school campuses led by middle school, high school, and college students. Club members serve their community through service, education, and leadership as volunteers of the American Red Cross. Red Cross Clubs participate in activities that align with the Red Cross’s humanitarian mission by holding regular service projects and leadership training throughout the school year to benefit members and their community.

LDC is a four-day overnight summer camp in a beautiful Bay Area location. Over 130 youth delegates gain hands-on experience and training in team-building, leadership roles, CPR and first aid, disaster and emergency preparedness, and other valuable life skills. The cost is very reasonable, and scholarships are available.
American Red Cross Northern California Coastal Region hosts an annual Summer Internship Program (SIP) to foster talent and build a robust pipeline of skilled professionals into our volunteer workforce. We strive to provide a dynamic and inclusive learning environment for youth and young adults to feel empowered to grow, learn, and contribute meaningfully with the American Red Cross. Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world departmental challenges, we aim to equip interns with the skills, knowledge and networks necessary to succeed in their future careers, both in professional settings and volunteerism.
SIP 2026 is currently in progress through August 2026. Application details for SIP 2027 will be made available after January 2027. Questions? Reach out to: YouthNCCR@redcross.org.
