Youth Volunteers & Services
Our chapter’s youth programs provide youth and young adults with opportunities to learn and serve. Our goal is to provide youth with meaningful opportunities for training, leadership and community service.
We empower youth to respond to the community's needs locally, nationally, and internationally through numerous leadership, education, and community service opportunities.
- Youth Red Cross Clubs
- Youth lead Disaster Preparedness Education
- Leadership Development Center
- Summer Project & Internship Program
The American Red Cross offers internships twice a year, during Spring and Summer, to offer high school and college students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at one of the world’s leading non-profit organizations. Our interns are valued team members and help promote the mission and services of the Red Cross.
Positions are offered in a wide range of departments and chapter offices, so interns are able to pursue their interests in various lines of service. The program offers participants stimulating and challenging projects that build their professional skills and leadership experience.
