Volunteers Practice for a Disaster

In September, American Red Cross volunteers participated in a disaster simulation in Contra Costa County, preparing for potential earthquakes in the San Francisco Bay Area. Over 2,000 responders later assisted with Hurricane relief efforts. This training, enhancing communication and shelter operations, demonstrated volunteers' commitment to alleviating human suffering during emergencies.
