PLEASANTON, Calif. – The American Red Cross is hosting a hiring event for phlebotomists within American Red Cross Blood Services. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion, including individuals experiencing childbirth complications, people fighting cancer, trauma patients in emergency rooms and those battling sickle cell disease.
WHAT: Walk-in Phlebotomist Hiring Event
Join the Red Cross team and help saves lives every day by collecting blood from healthy donors at Red Cross blood and platelet donation centers in Pleasant Hill, Pleasanton, Fremont/Newark, Oakland and San Francisco. A paid training program is provided. Those interested in applying are reminded to bring a resume the day of the event. Walk-ins are welcome, and applicants can find more information about a career with the Red Cross here.
Masks are required at the event.
