The American Red Cross Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) Rotational Program is a three-year development program designed to offer recent MBA, MPA, MA, and MPP graduates a paid, full-time employment opportunity that leads to mission-critical positions within the organization.
Partnering with some of the top graduate schools across the country, the Red Cross offers a unique opportunity to put learned skills into real-world practice.
Throughout the three-year program, the LEAD cohort gains core experience via project-based rotations linked to key initiatives essential to the success of the Red Cross.
LEAD exposes participants to Red Cross culture, operational management and an enterprise-wide perspective to build leadership capabilities for the future.
Assignments range across Red Cross business services, in locations from National headquarters to local regions.

Preferred 3-5 years of work experience prior to returning to graduate school
Candidates pursuing an MPA, MBA, MA, MPP or other master’s level program (focus on nonprofit management a plus)
Exceptional communication skills
Experience managing others directly or indirectly
Proven ability to navigate complex organizations
Interest in leading various operating components of a large nonprofit organization
Open to relocation for rotation assignments
