On March 27, donate to provide emergency shelter, food and other aid for disaster survivors
This Wednesday marks the 10th annual American Red Cross Giving Day to help people affected by disasters big and small in the U.S. by donating at redcross.org/givingday.
Every eight minutes, generous donations enable the Red Cross to respond to a disaster when help can’t wait. This support remains critical across the country as climate disasters grow in frequency and intensity, and home fires continue to upend lives each day.
DONATE ON MARCH 27 Help reach the campaign’s goal of rallying 30,000 supporters by donating at redcross.org/givingday to provide shelter, food, relief items, emotional support, financial assistance and other aid for people in need. Donations are key to saving lives because they fund nearly 100% of Red Cross disaster relief efforts.
MARCH IS RED CROSS MONTH Red Cross Giving Day is part of Red Cross Month, a national tradition started more than 80 years ago when President Franklin D. Roosevelt issued the first national Red Cross Month proclamation — and each American president has followed ever since. Visit redcross.org/redcrossmonth for other ways to get involved, including donating blood, volunteering or taking a class to learn lifesaving skills like first aid, CPR and how to use an AED.
