Thousands of Californians remain under evacuation orders as massive wildfires continue to burn across the state. The American Red Cross has been helping since June and will continue to assist people devastated by these relentless fires for as long as support is needed.
Thanks to our generous donors, the Red Cross is now starting to get emergency financial assistance into the hands of residents whose homes were severely impacted by California wildfires.
Served more than 87,500 meals and snacks
Provided more than 17,500 individual care contacts
Provided more than 19,700 overnight stays in emergency lodgings
Distributed more than 5,200 relief items
Deployed over 1,300 disaster workers
