When disaster strikes, supporting local recovery efforts becomes the top priority. Enterprise Mobility recognizes that being an engaged corporate citizen can make a meaningful difference in the communities where it operates. That’s why the Enterprise Mobility Foundation is donating $2.5 million annually through the Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP), to help the Red Cross provide shelter, food, emotional support and more to those in need after disasters big and small, whenever and wherever they occur across the country.
Enterprise Mobility’s partnership with the Red Cross helps provide a reliable funding base for disaster relief services and enables the organization to respond immediately to meet the needs of those affected by disasters.
Disaster Recovery Support
Enterprise Mobility’s support of ADGP complements its global efforts to provide critical disaster relief support when tornadoes, wildfires, floods and other natural disasters strike.
With thousands of fully staffed neighborhood and airport rental locations in more than 90 countries and territories, Enterprise Mobility is uniquely positioned to seamlessly move vehicles across regions and into affected areas. Enterprise Mobility also provides vehicles to support first responders, insurance adjusters, infrastructure repair crews and government emergency response officials who have traveled to help with recovery efforts.
Each regional Enterprise Mobility subsidiary has an Emergency Action Plan to try to ensure its branch offices have the right number and types of vehicles available during disaster recovery. In addition, Enterprise Mobility has a Mobile Emergency Response Vehicle (MERV) that operates as a portable, state-of-the-art branch office that can operate on a generator for more than 120 hours to support relief efforts even before local power is restored.
