
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (July 21, 2021) — On Wednesday, October 20, at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, the Broward County Chapter of the American Red Cross will present the 2021 Humanitarian Awards at its annual Dine & Dock Celebrity/CEO & Experience Auction. This year’s Humanitarian Honorees are Dr. Angeleke Saridakis, Mobile Mike, Division Chief/Fire Marshal of Tamarac Fire Rescue Department, Tommy Demopoulos, and Ralph Albrecht with MD Science Lab.
All honorees embody the spirit of the American Red Cross and have shown their dedication through their humanitarian efforts. In addition to their recognition, the 2021 Dine & Dock event will kick off with a special VIP reception at 5:30 p.m. where guests can mix and mingle with VIPs, celebrities, and CEOs.
The Welcome Reception, hosted by JM Family Enterprises Inc. at 6:30 p.m., is not to be missed taking place in the Ocean Ballroom with breathtaking views, delicious appetizers, and exciting networking opportunities. At 7:30 p.m., co-chairs, Cindy Imperato and Angela Waldman, will kick off the program presenting the 2021 Honorees with their prestigious Humanitarian Awards, followed by the VIP Celebrity auction sponsored by Keiser University.

All proceeds raised from this event benefit the American Red Cross, aiding in our response to local disasters ranging from home fires that affect a single family to hurricanes that affect tens of thousands. In these emergencies, the Red Cross provides shelter, food and comfort to assist families and entire communities in their time of need.
