
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (July 14, 2021) – The Palm Beach and Treasure Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross announced that Garo Artinian, Peter Thies, Kathleen “Carla” Alexander, and Kathi Barnhart joined its Board of Directors.
Garo Artinian was the CEO of Draka Holding NV where he helped grow the revenue exponentially while expanding sales in key markets in Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Europe. After retiring from Draka in 2006, he launched Artinian Holding, a global business advisory, supporting CEOs to expand and integrate their business. Garo currently serves on the board of Domaille Engineering.
Dr. Peter Thies is President of The River Group, a management consulting firm. He brings 25 years of experience helping global companies implement strategic organizational changes. Peter holds a PhD and MBA in organizational behavior from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an MS in educational psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in psychology from SUNY Albany.
Kathleen “Carla” Alexander is an experienced executive working in community banking and real estate development. She is a financial advisor with Coastal Wealth, a legacy advisor with Dignity Memorial, and Licensed Realtor with Douglas Elliman. Carla has achieved the National Board certification, and Board Certified Advocate in the emerging field of patient advocacy. As a Palm Beach native, she brings over 25 years of experience.
Kathi Barnhart is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor with Truist Wealth in Palm Beach. She has served the financial needs of affluent individuals and their families for over 25 years. Kathi specializes in comprehensive financial planning, investment services, risk management and lending. She holds her BA from Fairfield University as well as her series 7, 63 and life insurance licenses.
