MIAMI, FLA. (August 3, 2022) – On Saturday, March 4, 2023, the Greater Miami & The Keys Chapter of the American Red Cross will host the 38th American Red Cross Ball: A Passion for Red & Party in Red at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel. The return of this high-profile event will be attended by charitable South Florida leaders who represent the social and corporate communities of Miami-Dade and The Keys. Leah and Phillip Sylvester will chair this signature social fundraising event for the Red Cross along with Honorary Ball Chairs Marile and Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq.
At next year’s Ball, the Red Cross will recognize two individuals who have been passionate ambassadors for the Red Cross through their generosity and public support.
Trish & Dan Bell will be presented with the Spectrum Humanitarian Award.
“We are grateful to have the tremendous support of Trish and Dan Bell, who have been dedicated to the mission of the Red Cross for many years,” said Deborah Koch, Executive Director of the chapter. “It is an incredible honor to recognize them for their tireless work and commitment to our community and those we serve.”
This black-tie evening will feature a cocktail reception, a wine wall, an auction, the presentation of the Spectrum Humanitarian Award, and, of course, dinner and dancing to live music.
Following the Ball, Party in Red will bring Miami’s young professionals together at the official afterparty. Up-and-coming philanthropists and influencers can network with their peers and connect to the mission of the Red Cross while having a fun night out.
Sponsorship opportunities are available to show your support in a significant way. To learn more, contact Joanne Boigris at SouthFloridaRSVP@redcross.org or call (646) 341- 7575.
All proceeds from the Passion for Red Ball and Party in Red will benefit American Red Cross preparedness, response and recovery programs and services.
