Every eight minutes, the Red Cross helps someone affected by a disaster – and you can help contribute to those efforts. Your financial donation will help provide food, shelter, relief supplies, comfort, financial assistance and other aid, as well as support the vehicles, warehouses and people that make this help possible. We respond to about 65,000 disasters a year in the U.S - and you can be part of that response. For disasters big and small, our volunteers – which comprise more than 90% of our disaster workforce - provide comfort during what can be the worst days of people’s lives. Join a compassionate network of neighbors helping neighbors by putting on a red vest and joining us.

Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood – and you can join our lifesaving mission. It is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. Disasters can force the cancellation of Red Cross blood drives and the delivery of lifesaving blood products, threatening patient care. If you are in an area not impacted by a disaster, please find a blood drive near you and schedule an appointment to donate blood, platelets, or plasma.
