The online Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) Instructor Trainer Bridge is designed to allow qualified instructor trainers to become certified as American Red Cross Neonatal Advanced Life Support instructor trainers. To participate in the instructor trainer bridge candidates must hold a current provider level (base-level) NALS: Comprehensive (or equivalent) certification and an equivalent instructor trainer certification (e.g. NRP Instructor Mentor) or an approved alternate instructor trainer credential with demonstrated experience managing newborn resuscitations.Candidates must meet course prerequisites and upload qualifying credentials to complete the training and earn American Red Cross instructor trainer certification. Instructor Trainer candidates who successfully complete the online sessions will receive an American Red Cross Neonatal Advanced Life Support Instructor Trainer certification that is valid for two years. In support of improving patient care American Red Cross is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.The American Red Cross is an accredited provider of continuing education by the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE).
