Advanced Life Support (ALS) training from the American Red Cross builds on your BLS skills to help you deliver a greater level of care. Featuring science-based curriculum and personalized instruction, ALS classes use a scenario-based approach and focus on medically complex cases requiring advanced interventions. Earning Your PALS Certification

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training can help you provide life-saving care to infants and children during times of crisis. Using a science-based curriculum, personalized instruction and a scenario-based approach, our PALS course will help you learn to assess patients, provide advanced interventions, and improve critical-thinking skills so you can provide better care more confidently. American Red Cross ALS and PALS certifications are valid for two years from the completion date. PALS Training Formats: In-person and Blended Learning

Become a Red Cross Instructor

If you're currently a certified BLS, ACLS or PALS instructor with another training agency, you can expand your teaching options by takingjoin our free, online Instructor Bridge program. In order tTo qualify, you must hold a current provider-level (basic-level) certification and at least one of the equivalent certifications, from an approved training organization. Once you've been accepted into the Instructor Bridge program, you 'll gain access to all of the necessary online courses (and materials) and can become certified to teach BLS, ALS and/or PALS courses about an hour.
