Teaches lifeguards the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to emergencies in nonsurf open-water areas found at public parks resorts summer camps and campgrounds. Participants must have a current American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid  to participate in this module. After successful completion of this module participants will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Waterfront Skills which is valid for 2 years and is only valid with a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid.
