Awesome Instructor!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.A aron 753 years agoI attended the Skills Session on January 24th in Minneapolis. The instructor was phenomenal! He went above and beyond just the skills and explained in detail WHY things are done the way they are. It was also helpful that he had real-world experience in the medical field and has been emergency situations. I was required to attend this training for my job and was not enthused about going, however, it turned out to be extremely interesting and I would recommend this training to anyone!

Made me want to keep learning and practicing
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.GSCa3 years agoThe online portion was a little glitchy at times, but the organization was stepped well, required increasing autonomy to internalize skills while keeping a good amount of support/scaffolding, and in general felt like people who were good instructors designed it. The sections were a good length. The in-person instructor, Randy, was excellent. To the point but also patient, used humor well, and I felt set a high bar for himself and the class while also being extremely supportive. I was actually ... a little disappointed to leave and would like to take further training with him.

Really informative
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.MH283 years agoI did the adult and infant CPR/first aid/AED class. I was nervous to go because I have zero experience with any of those things. By the end of the class I had not only gained a lot of information but had practiced a lot of the skills and felt confident that I would be able to help in an emergency situation. The instructor also informed the class about an app that we can use to keep up on our skills which is also really helpful. Overall, I'm very happy that I went to the class.

Solid work!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.mochafro3 years agoCourse is an excellent introduction to creating a base skillset for basic CPR (for adults adults and pediatric) and First Aid, along with utilizing an AED and knowing how to take action and assess in an emergency setting. The online portion drills in the knowledge and behavior set, and the instructor reinforces said information to teach best practices. The instructor Keith, possessed an encyclopedia of knowledge along with an engaging and warm attitude!

Mixed bag
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.perkypika2 weeks agoOnline portion was great. Although the quizzes were tedious since they took so many clicks. Would be better to give all the questions at once and let the student answer all of them and then give results. Much fewer clicks that way. The in-person class started out horrible since the female instructor simply read every word of the slides. And she even stumbled over many of the words and did not seem to understand the concepts whatsoever. She seemed rather confused as to what she was supposed to ... be teaching. But then the male instructor helped out and he was extremely knowledgeable with lots of experience. So glad he was there.

Helpful Skills
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Chris9864 weeks agoWhile the course material were great, i think I would have liked more hands on expeience with the practice dummies practicing cpr. I felt like i wasnt doing the compressions fast enough. I think more needs to be done when it comes to practicing cpr. If youre going to do cpr, then you have to be confident in it.

A good teacher, who knew all of the subjects well
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Chermon6 days agoI thought the class was a good class. The teacher was fine and all of that, but I think a little ttoo much to cram into three hours. I’m used to doing the 9 to 3 type thing for all three of those combined. Had I not done This class multiple times Before, it might’ve been difficult to memorize a lot of of the steps for each task, but I got through it and I’m grateful I did and I want to thank you for my certification update!
