Excellent Training
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.CB47583 years agoI very much enjoyed this class and appreciated the instructor's teaching style. I have previously been a CPR instructor and been CPR certified and I believe this is the most entertaining and informative class I have ever taken through the Red Cross. I also appreciate how much safety was emphasised during the class as we are still in a pandemic. The fact that the ARC as a whole and the instructor individually were clear about taking that seriously is something that I am very grateful for. It ... was a very good experience over all.

Solid work!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.mochafro3 years agoCourse is an excellent introduction to creating a base skillset for basic CPR (for adults adults and pediatric) and First Aid, along with utilizing an AED and knowing how to take action and assess in an emergency setting. The online portion drills in the knowledge and behavior set, and the instructor reinforces said information to teach best practices. The instructor Keith, possessed an encyclopedia of knowledge along with an engaging and warm attitude!

Awesome training, tech could be improved
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.sjsess1 week agoHusband and I attended the mixed virtual & in person version. Training felt thorough and clear. 4 stars because logging into Red Cross for the first time is a doom loop of frustration. Even my tech savvy husband struggled to figure it out.

A good teacher, who knew all of the subjects well
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Chermon2 days agoI thought the class was a good class. The teacher was fine and all of that, but I think a little ttoo much to cram into three hours. I’m used to doing the 9 to 3 type thing for all three of those combined. Had I not done This class multiple times Before, it might’ve been difficult to memorize a lot of of the steps for each task, but I got through it and I’m grateful I did and I want to thank you for my certification update!

Helpful Skills
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Chris9863 weeks agoWhile the course material were great, i think I would have liked more hands on expeience with the practice dummies practicing cpr. I felt like i wasnt doing the compressions fast enough. I think more needs to be done when it comes to practicing cpr. If youre going to do cpr, then you have to be confident in it.

Just what I needed
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.QIZU3 years agoI'm required to stay up-to-date on certification in AED/CPR/FA for my job, and since my job wasn't allowed to do our normal in-person trainings this year due to COVID, we were all on our own. The online class followed by the 1-year provisional in-person class ended up being perfect for me. Everything I needed to review was covered, and in a way I could easily understand. The instructor for the in-person class was a little cranky at first, but it was early in the morning, so no judgement. He ... ended up covering everything we needed to know very professionally once we actually got started.

Made me want to keep learning and practicing
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.GSCa3 years agoThe online portion was a little glitchy at times, but the organization was stepped well, required increasing autonomy to internalize skills while keeping a good amount of support/scaffolding, and in general felt like people who were good instructors designed it. The sections were a good length. The in-person instructor, Randy, was excellent. To the point but also patient, used humor well, and I felt set a high bar for himself and the class while also being extremely supportive. I was actually ... a little disappointed to leave and would like to take further training with him.

Blended class option was great
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Great blended class1 week agoThe blended class was a great option because I could go into the in-person portion with a strong base knowledge, and then really focus on the polishing the skills. For me, this was an ideal method to retain information. The instructor was effective and engaging and made good use of our time together.

Good Course
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.UrbanFarm1 week agoThe instructor was REALLY good and thorough. He was the MOST thorough instructor I've had and I have done this course about 4 times. He stayed on track and didn't waste time. He explained things clearly and effectively, and he made sure everyone knew how to do the exercises before we were done. The website is a little tricky to navigate.
