We offer in-person Lifeguarding Classes in Littleton, and our in-person courses are perfect for those who prefer a traditional learning environment, offering the time to learn, ask questions and view in-person demonstrations. The total time commitment for our in-person lifeguarding course is 25 hours and 20 minutes.
The Red Cross blended learning Lifeguarding Classes in Littleton combine the traditional classroom environment along with online learning options. Our blended learning classes combines both in-person and online coursework for a total time commitment of 19 hours and 30 minutes in-person and 7 hours and 30 minutes of online work.
The American Red Cross has three courses that are featured during Lifeguard training in Littleton: Lifeguarding, Shallow Water Lifeguarding (water up to 5 feet deep) and Aquatic Attraction Lifeguarding (water up to 3 feet deep). A two year certification in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED is issued upon successful completion of our training and coursework. A digital certification is available upon completion.
The Lifeguard Manual was created to assist you in your Littleton Lifeguard training while also answering all of your questions, from basic water safety to how to best respond in an emergency situation. The Red Cross Lifeguarding Manual is available in both a digital format as well as a traditional printed version.
Red Cross lifeguarding review classes are designed to help you update your skills while renewing your certification for another two years. For those whose certification is still valid (or within 30 days of expiring), our renewal courses allow you to continue to work without a lapse in verification.
Those wish to recertify may register for the Red Cross Littleton Lifeguard training and review course. The American Red Cross Scientific Advisory Council consists of a 50+ person panel of experts. The council features those nationally recognized in the medical, academic and scientific fields. The Scientific Advisory council is committed to ensuring that the training procedures and practices taught are the best and most current available.
