Psychological First Aid

This workshop consists of two modules designed to teach adults effective ways to cope when their loved ones deploy. (45-60 minutes per module)
 

Introduction to Psychological First Aid and Resilience: This course teaches families how to comfort, care for and support loved ones and community members experiencing stress during the deployment cycle.

Using Psychological First Aid and Building Resilience in Military Children: This course enables adult caregivers to help children build psychological resilience, and to use Psychological First Aid steps to help themselves and their children during times of stress.

This workshop teaches coping skills specifically to support families with members dealing with common transitions of military service. (45-60 minutes per module)
 

Psychological First Aid for Service Members, Veterans and Families to Navigate Transitions in a Military Setting: This course enables those within the military communities to adaptively recover from change or adversity and provide effective emotional support to themselves and others.

Resource and referral information is also provided in this course to help course participants meet practical needs that, when not met, can lead to undue stress.

Psychological First Aid for Helping Military Children Cope with Transition: This course enables adult caregivers to help themselves and their children build psychological resilience during times of change or adversity by using Psychological First Aid steps. Resources and referral information are provided for caregivers seeking additional support for their children.
