Great foundation to understand the techniques
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.ACSK856 years agoI found the pre-work online portion to be very useful. It was detailed, interactive and really taught the techniques well. Once we got in person, it made the hands on portion much easier and solidified the knowledge well. My only negative about the course was that, while the instructor was good, he had an incredibly strong accent that made it difficult to understand a lot of what was being talked about. If I hadn't done the pre-work, I would not have understood much.

By far the most memorable training!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Hadrey6 years agoI’ve had to keep up CPR training for several years for work, but this was my first time using Red Cross - and I will never use a different source for training now! The online course was so repetitive, while placing you in many different realistic scenarios - and the interactive course trainer was so personable and made sure all students were worked with individually. This has been the first course that I feel remarkably confident that I can remember every vital step in an emergency scenario!

Great learning experience!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.CoachChelsea4 years agoFor a very easy to understand and engaging way to gain CPR/AED skills, I would recommend the Red Cross class I just took. The online components were not just boring videos but repetitive practice of the most important skills when providing assistance in an emergency. The in-person skills practice followed all the safe practices for covid prevention while still allowing for real practice of skills using dummies and tools like the practice AED. I left feeling confident that I can provide quality ... care in the event of an emergency!

Great Class but Slightly Strange Format
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Nicole44813 years agoThe class was great and they fit a lot of information into a short amount of time. I felt a lot more confident in my knowledge and abilities after the class. My only issue with the class is that I took the Adult First Aid/CPR/AED class but the in-person skills class also included the children's section so I had to sit through some information that I wasn't getting certified for. It wasn't a big deal but it seems like they should have put that information at the end so those who didn't need that ... information could leave early.

First Aid/AED/CPR course
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars. One Eye Dog3 years agoMy husband and I recently attended the above course given by the Red Cross in St Petersburg, FL. Our instructor was terrific, articulate and extremely knowledgeable. He shared the information quickly in a manner that made time fly. Our day began at 9:00 am and ended at 3:00 p.m. including a lunch break. We had our certificates of completion before we even made it home! We also live on a power catamaran and cruise full time. Having the appropriate first aid tools are vital. We knew most ... of the information, but learned better techniques on how to apply our knowledge.

CPR for adults, pediatrics worth the time
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Koze3 weeks agoGood material for the general public. The amount of time devoted was appropriate. Instructor knew his material. A bit more practice time on the mannequins would have been good. Projector bulb needs to be Replaced. Screen was hard to say. Facility was very nice at the Douglasville Blood center. We feel more prepared for our new grandchild. More people should take this class.

Heavy Perfume Use Spoiled a Good Class
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.AGAG3 weeks agoThe class was informative and I learned a lot. However, there was an unfortunate issue with use of heavy perfume by some participants that irritated my sinuses. The room was poorly ventilated and I was not allowed to sit by the door because I would not be able to see the videos from there. Can Red Cross suggest to participants to refrain from using fragrance in consideration of the respiratory health of the other participants?

No regrets
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Julie W2 days agoMy son and I completed the CPR/AED course last week. My son needed the certification for his job, and I wanted to take it just for the practice. The building was easy to get to with easy parking. The course was 2 hours and 15 minutes. In that short amount of time we learned so much. There was a mix of videos, discussion time, and hands on practice. The instructor was nice and easy going, and we felt comfortable contributing and asking questions. I highly recommend this class.
