Red Cross CPR Training
American Red Cross CPR classes are designed for the way you live, and learn. With options available on weekdays and weekends, plus online, instructor-led and blended learning course formats, you can get the CPR training you need on your schedule. From personalized learning to interactive scenarios to peer-to-peer learning and hands-on skills practice, our world-class instruction will give you the skills and confidence to perform this life-saving procedure when it's needed the most.

Performing CPR
When it comes to CPR, it's important to know how to treat both kids and adults. That's why, unless you sign up for a class that focuses on one population, our CPR trainings cover the procedures/steps for caring for adults, as well as children. Although we will prepare you to deliver care when it's needed most, the truth is, if you don't use your skills regularly, you're likely to lose them. So, to help prevent or mitigate loss of skills we offer online refresher materials that can help you retain the knowledge you've gained. In addition, we also provide you with access to a printable list of the basic steps for performing CPR. This way, you can keep the information you need right at your fingertips.

Great learning experience!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.CoachChelsea4 years agoFor a very easy to understand and engaging way to gain CPR/AED skills, I would recommend the Red Cross class I just took. The online components were not just boring videos but repetitive practice of the most important skills when providing assistance in an emergency. The in-person skills practice followed all the safe practices for covid prevention while still allowing for real practice of skills using dummies and tools like the practice AED. I left feeling confident that I can provide quality ... care in the event of an emergency!

Very knowledgeable instructor
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Spider4 years agoAt the start of class I was a little frustrated as the instructor was late. She was caught up in an accident and I’m very understanding and let that go. There was a few women that came together with a toddler. It was very distracting. The instructor handled the situation in a professional manner and made every one happy. She definitely had obstacles in her way but was able to teach thoroughly and quickly to get us out on time. Life happens…when it does it’s how we react that makes the difference ... and she did a great job!

Time flew by
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Anairam2 weeks agoThis was such a great class! The instructor was personable and patient, which makes everything so much easier. The material was simple enough to learn and remember, but detailed enough to where I felt I learned so much from the class. I would definitely recommend this class to my friends, family and work colleagues!

Heavy Perfume Use Spoiled a Good Class
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.AGAG2 weeks agoThe class was informative and I learned a lot. However, there was an unfortunate issue with use of heavy perfume by some participants that irritated my sinuses. The room was poorly ventilated and I was not allowed to sit by the door because I would not be able to see the videos from there. Can Red Cross suggest to participants to refrain from using fragrance in consideration of the respiratory health of the other participants?

Received immediate CPR certificate after class!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Kcatt2 months agoI took the Adult CPR/AED in person class and we did hands on learning of CPR, AED, and choking rescue. Teacher was very nice, patient, and friendly. I like how she spoke loud and clear. My class was about 2 hours long. I received an electronic certificate via email immediately after the class. I really appreciate the immediate certification after class because it helped me finish applying that evening for a job that required CPR certification. Thank you for the great customer service.

Awesome instructor!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Musavelutina2 weeks agoI took this training in order to fulfill a requirement for a special needs camp I'm attending. Our instructor, Syri, did a GREAT job. She demonstrated knowledge of the subject while still making the class fun and engaging. The tools used in the hands-on practice session worked well.

Efficient and Engaging
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Alana4414 years agoThe adult and pediatric CPR/AED-BL course was a great experience. The interactive and informative online portion that I completed made me more comfortable and confident with the necessary information prior to attending the in person session. The instructor was extremely educated on the topic and answered all questions we had. Her humor and questions made the course more engaging than a typical CPR course. The CPR mouth covering keychain we received at the end was also a plus that I appreciated, ... especially during a pandemic.

Instructor and Training Were Great!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.StephRiv4 years agoI didn't know what to expect when I signed up for this course because of how Covid has really changed the way we do almost everything. So I was worried it would be more video instruction and not so much hands on. I actually really ended up loving the video modules followed by the in class instruction. Our instructor was very articulate in explaining the CPR and AED procedure. And, yes, you do get to practice with a "dummy". I think that the instructor made something that can be mundane an ... enjoyable and memorable experience.

Everyone needs this training.
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Franco1 month agoThe virtual class was clear, convenient, and easy to follow, laying a great foundation before the in-person session. The hands-on training was engaging and really helped build my confidence with CPR and using an AED. The instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure we all felt prepared. I highly recommend this training to anyone looking to be ready in an emergency!

Great class
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.JimDandy0071 week agoThe class was easy to comprehend and retain the material. I enjoyed the instructor’s no nonsense but we’re going to get through this approach. I have taken CPR classes in the past as a medic and this was by far one of the best ways to learn material I have come across. As it has been over two decades since my last CPR certification. However, I had an earlier class canceled at the last minute. It cost me two weeks of pay as I could not start before the pay period at my new job. I would just ... recommend in the future cancellations, give those individuals priority to get in a class ASAP. I had to wait an additional week almost and there were financial repercussions I encountered.

Happy to recommend
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.gifflinda3 years agoI had originally registered for an in-person class that was ultimately canceled. In order to recertify in time, I registered for the online class. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was impressed. The "Missions" were well done, and I was able to watch them a second time for reinforcement. I then went for my in-person skills testing. My instructor was great. She reviewed the highlights and ran us through a practice run before we tested. I am happy to recommend this class.

Just what I needed
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.QIZU3 years agoI'm required to stay up-to-date on certification in AED/CPR/FA for my job, and since my job wasn't allowed to do our normal in-person trainings this year due to COVID, we were all on our own. The online class followed by the 1-year provisional in-person class ended up being perfect for me. Everything I needed to review was covered, and in a way I could easily understand. The instructor for the in-person class was a little cranky at first, but it was early in the morning, so no judgement. He ... ended up covering everything we needed to know very professionally once we actually got started.
