Take a Red Cross CPR Class

Red Cross CPR Training
American Red Cross CPR classes are designed for the way you live, and learn. With options available on weekdays and weekends, plus online, instructor-led and blended learning course formats, you can get the CPR training you need on your schedule. From personalized learning to interactive scenarios to peer-to-peer learning and hands-on skills practice, our world-class instruction will give you the skills and confidence to perform this life-saving procedure when it's needed the most.

Performing CPR
When it comes to CPR, it's important to know how to treat both kids and adults. That's why, unless you sign up for a class that focuses on one population, our CPR trainings cover the procedures/steps for caring for adults, as well as children. Although we will prepare you to deliver care when it's needed most, the truth is, if you don't use your skills regularly, you're likely to lose them. So, to help prevent or mitigate loss of skills we offer online refresher materials that can help you retain the knowledge you've gained. In addition, we also provide you with access to a printable list of the basic steps for performing CPR. This way, you can keep the information you need right at your fingertips.

Very informative and educational course
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Indu_a3 weeks agoI attended this course a few weeks ago and found it very informative. The course and training was clear, detail oriented, interactive and with lots of hands-on training sessions. Skills on CPR admission and use of AED were taught and built on through repetitive practice.

Made me want to keep learning and practicing
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.GSCa3 years agoThe online portion was a little glitchy at times, but the organization was stepped well, required increasing autonomy to internalize skills while keeping a good amount of support/scaffolding, and in general felt like people who were good instructors designed it. The sections were a good length. The in-person instructor, Randy, was excellent. To the point but also patient, used humor well, and I felt set a high bar for himself and the class while also being extremely supportive. I was actually ... a little disappointed to leave and would like to take further training with him.

Great Class but Slightly Strange Format
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Nicole44813 years agoThe class was great and they fit a lot of information into a short amount of time. I felt a lot more confident in my knowledge and abilities after the class. My only issue with the class is that I took the Adult First Aid/CPR/AED class but the in-person skills class also included the children's section so I had to sit through some information that I wasn't getting certified for. It wasn't a big deal but it seems like they should have put that information at the end so those who didn't need that ... information could leave early.

CPR Refresher Training
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.daveyork79272 days agoI recently took the CPR/First Aid/AED class. I took this as a refresher. I found the material informative and the instructor knowledgeable with lots of hands on experience. He asked questions to insure we understood and was always quick and thorough with answers to any of our questions. Well worth the time and money spent.

Eh...
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Lenakat2 days agoThe material was fine, nothing knew or that I hadn't done before. My biggest issue was that it was unknown to me until I had already paid the money and showed up there at 9 am, that I was required to get down on the floor. I have arthritis in both my knees and in one hip, so getting down to the floor is legitimately torture for me and staying down there for a long period of time on top of that -- when getting up, my right knee almost gave out but I had to do it as required by my trainer per ... redcross guidelines. So being in pain still 3 days later from that 1 event was worth it, for this digital card?

Instructor and Training Were Great!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.StephRiv4 years agoI didn't know what to expect when I signed up for this course because of how Covid has really changed the way we do almost everything. So I was worried it would be more video instruction and not so much hands on. I actually really ended up loving the video modules followed by the in class instruction. Our instructor was very articulate in explaining the CPR and AED procedure. And, yes, you do get to practice with a "dummy". I think that the instructor made something that can be mundane an ... enjoyable and memorable experience.

manageable
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.teachermom5 years agoI greatly appreciate the ability to do a large portion of the class online. With 4 kids and a very busy schedule, this made taking the class much more manageable and easier to fit into my family's schedule. The online portion was also extremely helpful with the way it was laid out and how you were made to do the steps several times to pass. Very hands on for an online course. The in-class teacher was also extremely personable and put any anxieties I had about doing things correctly at ... ease. I left with the confidence that I could do this if I needed to and I would know what to do. Thank you!
