Performing CPR
When it comes to CPR, it's important to know how to treat both kids and adults. That's why, unless you sign up for a class that focuses on one population, our CPR trainings cover the procedures/steps for caring for adults, as well as children. Although we will prepare you to deliver care when it's needed most, the truth is, if you don't use your skills regularly, you're likely to lose them. So, to help prevent or mitigate loss of skills we offer online refresher materials that can help you retain the knowledge you've gained. In addition, we also provide you with access to a printable list of the basic steps for performing CPR. This way, you can keep the information you need right at your fingertips.

AMAZING instructor!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Jaklyn2 days agoThis was my fouth time getting my CPR/AED certification through Red Cross. Two were fully online, and two were blended (online and in person). This most previous blended training was the best experience I have had so far. I would highly recommend this option to anyone. I able to comprehend the modules at my own pace. Then, I went in person, and our instructor went through each module briefly and I was able to ask questions. The real-life situation of practicing CPR and using the AED on a ... test-dummy was extremely beneficial. Finally, the instructor I had was so faboulous. She answered all of our questions honestly and tied in her own personal experiences in EMS. She paid attention to each person in the training--especially when doing the hands on practice. I left this training feeling the most confident in actually being able to save someones life.

Great class

I enjoyed the instructor’s no nonsense but we’re going to get through this approach. I have taken CPR classes in the past as a medic and this was by far one of the best ways to learn material I have come across. As it has been over two decades since my last CPR certification. However, I had an earlier class canceled at the last minute. It cost me two weeks of pay as I could not start before the pay period at my new job. I would just ... recommend in the future cancellations, give those individuals priority to get in a class ASAP. I had to wait an additional week almost and there were financial repercussions I encountered.

Learning to Save a Life

Melanie was the instructor for our class and made 3 hours vanish it went by so quickly! She talked to us not at us, asked questions about our experience and why we wanted to learn. She helped those who might not grasp the concept as quickly, but was always helpful and supportive! She is friendly and knowledgeable about what she teaches and enjoys the personal interaction with her students. She is most ... definitely in the right place doing the right job!

Great experience

The instructor was professional, gloves, masks and hand sanitizer were provided as well as individual dummies for everyone enrolled. I was only there for the CPR/AED session, so I didn't get to experience the First Aid course, but the experience was great. It kept my attention, the slides and videos were quick and engaging. I really liked the hands-on portion. I will definitely take this course again in 2 years and look forward to it.

This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Bjmyangel6 years agoClassroom portion was a combined class for Adult CPR/AED, Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED, as well as Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid. Each participant was released at the end of their specific class if they did not take the full Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid class. The instructor was very good, gave clear instruction, and had a great personality. That sure makes classroom time go quickly! The online portion was quick and well done.

The interactive and informative online portion that I completed made me more comfortable and confident with the necessary information prior to attending the in person session. The instructor was extremely educated on the topic and answered all questions we had. Her humor and questions made the course more engaging than a typical CPR course. The CPR mouth covering keychain we received at the end was also a plus that I appreciated, ... especially during a pandemic.

Time flew by

The material was simple enough to learn and remember, but detailed enough to where I felt I learned so much from the class. I would definitely recommend this class to my friends, family and work colleagues!

CPR for adults, pediatrics worth the time
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Koze2 weeks agoGood material for the general public. The amount of time devoted was appropriate. Instructor knew his material. A bit more practice time on the mannequins would have been good. Projector bulb needs to be Replaced. Screen was hard to say. Facility was very nice at the Douglasville Blood center. We feel more prepared for our new grandchild. More people should take this class.

Happy to recommend

In order to recertify in time, I registered for the online class. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was impressed. The "Missions" were well done, and I was able to watch them a second time for reinforcement. I then went for my in-person skills testing. My instructor was great. She reviewed the highlights and ran us through a practice run before we tested. I am happy to recommend this class.

First Aid/AED/CPR course

Our instructor was terrific, articulate and extremely knowledgeable. He shared the information quickly in a manner that made time fly. Our day began at 9:00 am and ended at 3:00 p.m. including a lunch break. We had our certificates of completion before we even made it home! We also live on a power catamaran and cruise full time. Having the appropriate first aid tools are vital. We knew most ... of the information, but learned better techniques on how to apply our knowledge.

Received immediate CPR certificate after class!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Kcatt2 months agoI took the Adult CPR/AED in person class and we did hands on learning of CPR, AED, and choking rescue. Teacher was very nice, patient, and friendly. I like how she spoke loud and clear. My class was about 2 hours long. I received an electronic certificate via email immediately after the class. I really appreciate the immediate certification after class because it helped me finish applying that evening for a job that required CPR certification. Thank you for the great customer service.

They really stood out with their ability to blend humor with learning creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere that kept everyone engaged. I would highly recommend taking a CPR class with the Red Cross.
