The American Red Cross thanks everyone who turned their compassion into action on GivingTuesday.
Our lifesaving mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers and donors. Because of your generosity, each year, the Red Cross is able to:
Respond to more than 60,000 disasters in the U.S.
Provide more than 540,000 services to members of the military, veterans and their families.
Train more than 4.6 million people in first aid, water safety and other lifesaving skills.
Help nearly 143 million people around the world through American Red Cross disease prevention activities and disaster services.
Distribute more than 6.3 million blood products for transfusion to meet the needs of patients at about 2,500 hospitals and other facilities across the country.
On behalf of the individuals and families that we serve each day, thank you again for your support. We wish you a safe and joyous holiday season.
