Additional Information
Description
These pads include useful illustrations for correct placement of each pad on an adult or infant body, and are specially enhanced with less adhesion for easier removal, and two sided backing so pads may be replaced for reuse. AED trainer pads are recommended for use on BigRedâ„¢ CPR Manikins with LED Light CPR Feedback, as well as Prestan manikins. Pads are not recommended for use on foam manikins.

To remove the AED Trainer Pads from the manikin's chest, gently grip the pads and peel them off the manikin. Do NOT remove the pads by pulling on the chords. Pulling on the chords may result in the adhesive pads sticking to the manikin or chord tearing.

Training Device Replacement Pad Assembly - Combo Adult & Child is rated 1.9 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cord is too stiff and pads don't last We've used these products for years due to buying the AED trainers.... Both products are sub-par and wish we had bought different brand but are now stuck with the products and preplacement products due to how much we invested initially! The cords are too stiff and the students spend so much time trying to get them to straighten out before putting pads on. There are other companies that make a more pliable cord that work much better. Also, the sticky backs either stick so much they get stuck and rip, or they don't stick after just a few uses. The students constantly mess with them, instead of just listening to the AED prompts because they are so worried about them not sticking/moving. AND, I highly suggest asking and reminding your students to NOT pull from the cord directly, or they end up pulling the cord completely separating it from the hard yellow piece that innitiates the "analyzing, do not touch the patient," prompt.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible, but what choice do I have? Bought a set of 6 AED training units, and loved that they are all branded with the ARC logo. Sadly, the training pads are horrible.... especially for Lifeguard training. The pads are SO sticky on the first use that they easily tear. After a couple rounds of use during the LGT training session, moisture gets on them, and they are never sticky after that! The wires are so stiff, they quickly turn into a tangled mess. Seriously thinking I have to get rid of these AED trainers altogether and time to shop for another brand of trainers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pads are too Weak These pads need to be replaced way too often, once you have bought the Red Cross AEDs no other pads & connectors are compatible. I would recommend that the American Red Cross look into changing the material of these pads.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality pads Red Cross, Please consider reviewing the materials used in constructing these pads. I have no issues with the AED trainer per se. It works as advertised. But the quality of the pads are substandard. I am very disappointed that the Red Cross would allow these pads to be used for training. I conduct 4 to 5 BLS classes per month. As it stands, I am having to replace the pads monthly. This is unacceptable. If i had known the pads were such low quality i would not have purchased these AED's. Although, I have had the pads tear in half, I have accepted this as wear from abuse. But having the cord become unattached from the pad itself is a quality issue due to the cord being so inflexible. The adhesive lasts approximately one month for my use. The last thing i want my students to worry about is the pads not sticking or fumbling with the cord. I constantly have students get distracted with these issues. I do not want to purchase different AED 's just because of the quality of the pads.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Pads were too sticky. They wouldn’t come off and ripped in half when we removed them. They left sticky residue all over my dummies.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Replacement, not an improvement Our old pair of trainer pads needed to be replaced. These are exactly like the old one but it amazes me that they have not updated the materials at all. One pad ripped while removing from a cpr mannequin on it's first use. Does it get the job done? yes. Will it last long? probably not. I would gladly pay a few more dollars for something other than thin foam paper I can get from a craft store for under 1 dollar.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low Usage The pads are easy to break, get very low usage out of them. The pads sticks the the extreme on the infant manikins which is extremely difficult to peal off. As a results, residue is left behind leaving the manikin looking dirty or uncleaned. In addition to, I will need to replace the pads after a few usages because they get damaged.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as needed These replacement pads are exactly as described and are just what we needed for our training classes. Very well made and work perfectly.
