BLS Training: For Healthcare & Public Safety

Great information!

As a previous Red Cross instructor, I was very pleased with the instructor and the class especially since this was during Covid-19 and we were staying 6 feet apart.

Great class to cover all the basics

Great class to cover the basics. Designed for use in a hospital setting rather that out and about in the real world.

Very informative. Best class I have taken so far.

I took the BLS class in Princeton NJ. It was the best class I have taken so far and I have been in a couple different classes that were not with the American Red Cross. I definitely will continue to recertify with the American Red Cross. I learned so much more and my instructor was great. He really took the time to go over everything and made sure everyone was doing things properly and explained something if someone needed it.

the class was easy to understand and very imformative i am now very confident that i can help save somones life. the instructer was very nice and made the class a very easy going and comfortable setting. 5 stars for joe gilman!! and 5 stars for the class i think everyone should take this class if they can! its going to be very usefull

American Red Cross Bridge

Completed the bridge program very detailed and fortunately very similar to the American Heart Association and American Health and Safety Institute. I am now excited to start teaching under American Red Cross!

Great videos and useful information

I found the information very helpful. I especially liked the videos that developed a “critical eye”. It was very helpful to learn good communication techniques when correcting skills.

Good show

The online certification was very long and comprehensive. I wish there was a playback feature where i could 1.5x or even 2x the speed. The in-person certification was fine, but I think there needs to be a higher teacher to student ratio. My class had 1 teacher to 12 students, but I think it would greatly help if there was a teaching assistant or something of the like. Thorough, Enthusiastic Instruction

I was very pleased with my Basic Life Support training. The facilitator Amy was detail oriented and thoughtful in her instruction. She emphasized the importance of following each step when helping someone, and she made our groups restart the process during the simulated intervention portions of the seminar if we happened to miss something. Her ability to interweave between the Red Cross presentation and the hands-on exercises was excellent.

BLS Education and Training

It was time for me to renew my BLS Certification, so I contacted The Amercian Red Cross to enroll in a class. The instructor that was assigned to our class was absolutely outstanding. He was meticulous in explaining the "why's and what for's" in every aspect of this course as well as continual reinforcement of the principles. I loved how the instructor stopped and spent more time on the important points. I the only downside is, I assume due to how short the class, that the not so ‘important’ point were ran through quickly. Besides that, hats off to the instructor!
