Excellent Adult First Aid/CPR/AED-R.21 training.
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Citadel of Hope1 month agoExcellent Adult First Aid/CPR/AED-R.21 training. Informative and helpful! Highly recommended! Not sure why the selection of five stars is not holding in each section. Chase Lawrence was well prepared did an excellent job of explaining each of the training segments and illustrating the procedures in each of the categories --- CPR, First Aid and AED.

Salvation Army first aid, cpr, aed clasd
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Hoolie4 days agoThis was a helpful and efficiant class overall. I just usually don’t give 5 stars to anyone. It got me to focus and pay attention and this is what I need in this hectic world. I would like to make this a yearly event. I’m trying to renter the workforce, possibly taking classes. So this was an excellent start to see how nervous I might be! Thank you so much Salvation Army.

Made me want to keep learning and practicing
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.GSCa3 years agoThe online portion was a little glitchy at times, but the organization was stepped well, required increasing autonomy to internalize skills while keeping a good amount of support/scaffolding, and in general felt like people who were good instructors designed it. The sections were a good length. The in-person instructor, Randy, was excellent. To the point but also patient, used humor well, and I felt set a high bar for himself and the class while also being extremely supportive. I was actually ... a little disappointed to leave and would like to take further training with him.

Happy to recommend
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.gifflinda3 years agoI had originally registered for an in-person class that was ultimately canceled. In order to recertify in time, I registered for the online class. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was impressed. The "Missions" were well done, and I was able to watch them a second time for reinforcement. I then went for my in-person skills testing. My instructor was great. She reviewed the highlights and ran us through a practice run before we tested. I am happy to recommend this class.

Wonderful Class!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Chad12773 years agoThis class went very well. Jennifer White, the instructor, did an amazing job teaching the course. She is very knowledgeable and represents The American Red Cross well. This was with fifth time taking a CRP/AED/First Aid course and this was for sure my favorite class. It was my first time taking it through the American Red Cross. I learned many new things throughout this class. I also took a First Aid for Opioid Overdose class online a few days after this class and was also very pleased. I plan ... to take one or two more online courses. I help with first aid at my church and I now feel I am more prepared in the event of a medical emergency.

Solid work!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.mochafro3 years agoCourse is an excellent introduction to creating a base skillset for basic CPR (for adults adults and pediatric) and First Aid, along with utilizing an AED and knowing how to take action and assess in an emergency setting. The online portion drills in the knowledge and behavior set, and the instructor reinforces said information to teach best practices. The instructor Keith, possessed an encyclopedia of knowledge along with an engaging and warm attitude!

Awesome training, tech could be improved
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.sjsess3 weeks agoHusband and I attended the mixed virtual & in person version. Training felt thorough and clear. 4 stars because logging into Red Cross for the first time is a doom loop of frustration. Even my tech savvy husband struggled to figure it out.

A great tool to have in case of an emergency!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.VA teacher2 weeks agoThis was a very efficient way to brush up on training or to learn for the first time. The learning process was done at my pace (in a few hours) in my home and then the learned skills practiced in person.

Mixed bag
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.perkypika3 weeks agoOnline portion was great. Although the quizzes were tedious since they took so many clicks. Would be better to give all the questions at once and let the student answer all of them and then give results. Much fewer clicks that way. The in-person class started out horrible since the female instructor simply read every word of the slides. And she even stumbled over many of the words and did not seem to understand the concepts whatsoever. She seemed rather confused as to what she was supposed to ... be teaching. But then the male instructor helped out and he was extremely knowledgeable with lots of experience. So glad he was there.

Great Red Cross Training
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.JBVJ4 weeks agoThe enrollment process was facilitating and the person who handled my change in schedule was extremely helpful and professional. The online portion of the training was well done. The presentations were sequential, informative, and comprehensive. I appreciated the features of unlimited time, pre-testing, and review. Our in-person trainer was competent, on task, and humorous. She summarized procedures succinctly and offered practically recommendations. She made the class fun.
