A thorough course on first aide

I liked going through the different scenarios to figure out what I should do, step by step. The pretests were also helpful - it let me know what I didn't know which helped me stay focused when I was trying to learn.

I learned so much and believe I am better prepared to assist others in emergency situations. Looking forward to the in person skills class to apply what I learned online.

This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Puffthemagicdragon4 weeks agoThe online version was well made, and great for those of us who have taken CPR/First Aid before, but needed a review/update. A couple of (minor) suggestions to add: the tourniquet training was great, but forgot the part about writing or noting the time the tourniquet was applied, which is important information for the medics. As well, I do wish the CPR section had some brief info on how to do CPR on a suspected spinal/head injury. I would absolutely recommend this class for those who have done ... it before, but perhaps not for first timers, as I think it would benefit the learner to be able to ask an instructor questions and get a feel hands-on. A lot of time went into this making this course, and it shows!

This class was so informative and helped me understand ways I can help out in a challenging situation. After taking this class, I am not an expert but I am not in the dark about what to do until help arrives. I need to review it again, as to be expected, and would like supplemental materials to reinforce the class.
