This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Jack131 year agoI signed up for this Class because I have been a Professional Dog Trainer for 40 years, and even though I never experienced a true emergency with any dog while training, I always wanted to be ready for any potential concern. This course online gave me the training and tools I needed to be ready for any potential medical problem. Likewise, my wife does Dog Sitting, and we do get puppies, as well as older dogs, that again, may have some health concerns. This course will help us stabilize the dog ... while we take it to the Veterinarian's office, if needed.

This class was so informative and helped me understand ways I can help out in a challenging situation. After taking this class, I am not an expert but I am not in the dark about what to do until help arrives. I need to review it again, as to be expected, and would like supplemental materials to reinforce the class.

The training is also a good reminder that we should all have a well-stocked first aid kit in their car and home.

This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Puffthemagicdragon3 weeks agoThe online version was well made, and great for those of us who have taken CPR/First Aid before, but needed a review/update. A couple of (minor) suggestions to add: the tourniquet training was great, but forgot the part about writing or noting the time the tourniquet was applied, which is important information for the medics. As well, I do wish the CPR section had some brief info on how to do CPR on a suspected spinal/head injury. I would absolutely recommend this class for those who have done ... it before, but perhaps not for first timers, as I think it would benefit the learner to be able to ask an instructor questions and get a feel hands-on. A lot of time went into this making this course, and it shows!

I learned so much and believe I am better prepared to assist others in emergency situations. Looking forward to the in person skills class to apply what I learned online.

Easy to navigate
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Gerilyn3 years agoI needed this certification for a school requirement. The online portion was easy to navigate and was perfect to fit my schedule. My only problem with it, is that I didn't not realize you needed an in person skills section to complete the certification. And unfortunately there are none offered in my area anytime soon. I wish that would have been explained when registering for the online class.
