Rated 2 out of 5 by Patkd from Meant for teenagers Perhaps I missed a discription somewhere but this was definately targeted at teenagers. While the information was good, I am an new grandmother helping out with my granddaughter and it really didn't provide me with what I was hoping for as I am with her all day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by tigger03 from Needs updating badly! These materials, as well as the instruction DVD are sorely out of date! It's inconvenient and time consuming to have to change up the video parts as well as acknowledge updates and outdates in the books.

Rated 2 out of 5 by tce11 from Needs an update I've bought hundreds over the past decade... the materials are great, and I continue to use them, as I think the young students (11-15 year olds) benefit from having these materials on hand; but the last two chapters need to be updated! I'm disappointed that the ARC has increased the price of these materials, as well as the certification cost for this program, despite NOT updating the materials.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MrsClanton from Jacked up prices I've been teaching Red Cross Babysitting for over 10 years. I am a Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher in the public school system in Maryland. I teach this class b/c it is so valuable to the students to learn these life skills. I love the product but am not happy with the price increase. There should be a greater discount to instructors/schools. We are giving of our time to teach these skills and as an educator it should be affordable to all who take it and unfortunately it can be cost prohibitive to some middle schoolers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ctce from Great materials but needs update! The handbook, emergency guide and CD-ROM are great - great content, easy to read, very appropriate, helpful and covers everything! Unfortunately the last two chapters (emergencies and CPR information) are outdated, and do not match the content that is being taught in the class. Most courses/materials get updated every 5 years; this one has not been updated in over 10 years... I hope the Red Cross will continue to provide this class and these materials, with current information!

Rated 3 out of 5 by BST Camp Queen from Use these materials carefully This is a nice set for BST camps but much of the first aid and CPR is outdated. It takes an extra 20 minutes of class time to have them cross out pages that are incorrect. But it is still a nice thing to have for the babysitters and they seem to like it.
