Training Confident and Capable Caregivers

Taking a Babysitting Class
The American Red Cross is the nation’s leader in babysitting classes and child care training – and will prepare you to become one of the most capable, trusted and confident caregivers in your community. In fact, 8 in 10 surveyed parents said they would pay more for a trained babysitter who holds Red Cross babysitting certifications. You can also opt to get certified in First Aid and CPR/AED, and add even more value to your clients.

Very good and helpful, but could also be improved
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Lens226 months agoThis was very good and I liked how they let you practice on baby dolls. But it could definitely be improved, like for example giving us more information about lunch in the website, because my child didn’t know what the lunch situation was so she didn’t have anything to eat and nobody did anything about it. But overall a pretty good experience and it was very helpful!

Very beneficial
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Jblechar2 years agoMy 12 year old enjoyed this class a lot. She was fortunate to have a small class and gained a lot from both instructors. She learned so much and walked away feeling more confident and ready to babysit for others. I wish there was an option to get officially CPR certified after this course or as an add on?

Great Integrity and Knowledge
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.siebie4 weeks agothis product really did what it advertised. I learned a lot and I’m really glad I have this knowledge to help in my career this summer. I’m 16 with little experience with kids but this course makes me feel so much more prepared and ready to care! I do feel that some of it was basic common sense but I’m glad they still covered it for some people.

Great staff & class
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.bobo873 weeks agoI took this class so I can get certified for babysitting and people are more likely to hire me. They didn't particularly watch us that closely for the CPR part and my friend still doesn't know some of the stuff. The staff was nice though, and I do know how to take care of toddlers and infants now.

Great class
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Wes30303 months agoI really enjoyed this class and learned a lot! I did not know how to take care of infants before and learned how to change a diaper and feed a baby. I also learned a lot about how to help children resolving conflict while babysitting and different leadership styles to try depending on the situation. I liked the videos too.

pretty good class!
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.spearskiii7341 week agoThis class was pretty fun! I would recommend it for ages 11+ because it's kinda hard to take all of the information, but I like the Babysitters Handbook because you can take notes. the teachers were nice but kinda strict.
