Great experience!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Caroline223 years agoHe did a great job teaching and did a thorough description of the steps. He didn’t rush through the practice and made sure everyone knew what they were doing before moving on. Although, maybe consider using less videos and more hands-on work.

Lots of good information
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.SBB672 weeks agoI felt a bit like too much was thrown at us at once. I would like to have had something to read in advance so I would have been more prepared to ask questions. I really liked the hands on part and that has made me more comfortable with CPR. More training on first aid would have been nice. Would have also appreciated some general information on how to volunteer in the area.

AMAZING instructor!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Jaklyn3 weeks agoThis was my fouth time getting my CPR/AED certification through Red Cross. Two were fully online, and two were blended (online and in person). This most previous blended training was the best experience I have had so far. I would highly recommend this option to anyone. I able to comprehend the modules at my own pace. Then, I went in person, and our instructor went through each module briefly and I was able to ask questions. The real-life situation of practicing CPR and using the AED on a ... test-dummy was extremely beneficial. Finally, the instructor I had was so faboulous. She answered all of our questions honestly and tied in her own personal experiences in EMS. She paid attention to each person in the training--especially when doing the hands on practice. I left this training feeling the most confident in actually being able to save someones life.

Great class
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.JimDandy0074 weeks agoThe class was easy to comprehend and retain the material. I enjoyed the instructor’s no nonsense but we’re going to get through this approach. I have taken CPR classes in the past as a medic and this was by far one of the best ways to learn material I have come across. As it has been over two decades since my last CPR certification. However, I had an earlier class canceled at the last minute. It cost me two weeks of pay as I could not start before the pay period at my new job. I would just ... recommend in the future cancellations, give those individuals priority to get in a class ASAP. I had to wait an additional week almost and there were financial repercussions I encountered.

First Aid/AED/CPR course
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars. One Eye Dog3 years agoMy husband and I recently attended the above course given by the Red Cross in St Petersburg, FL. Our instructor was terrific, articulate and extremely knowledgeable. He shared the information quickly in a manner that made time fly. Our day began at 9:00 am and ended at 3:00 p.m. including a lunch break. We had our certificates of completion before we even made it home! We also live on a power catamaran and cruise full time. Having the appropriate first aid tools are vital. We knew most ... of the information, but learned better techniques on how to apply our knowledge.

Made me want to keep learning and practicing
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.GSCa3 years agoThe online portion was a little glitchy at times, but the organization was stepped well, required increasing autonomy to internalize skills while keeping a good amount of support/scaffolding, and in general felt like people who were good instructors designed it. The sections were a good length. The in-person instructor, Randy, was excellent. To the point but also patient, used humor well, and I felt set a high bar for himself and the class while also being extremely supportive. I was actually ... a little disappointed to leave and would like to take further training with him.

Insightful and practical training
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.PhilipR564 years agoI learned a lot from this training. I hope that I am not required to use the training but I feel confident that if the need arises I am much better prepared than I was to help. I discovered that I didn't know the basics for example when to and when not to use CPR. I found the Check Call Care approach logical and I am sure it has saved lives. And the SAMPLE checklist is very helpful. There is a lot to remember from this short course. Our instructor was wonderful - patient and professional.

Learning to Save a Life
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.CancerWarrior4 years agoWhile you hope you never need it, CPR/AED training is insurance just in case the need arises. Melanie was the instructor for our class and made 3 hours vanish it went by so quickly! She talked to us not at us, asked questions about our experience and why we wanted to learn. She helped those who might not grasp the concept as quickly, but was always helpful and supportive! She is friendly and knowledgeable about what she teaches and enjoys the personal interaction with her students. She is most ... definitely in the right place doing the right job!

manageable
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.teachermom5 years agoI greatly appreciate the ability to do a large portion of the class online. With 4 kids and a very busy schedule, this made taking the class much more manageable and easier to fit into my family's schedule. The online portion was also extremely helpful with the way it was laid out and how you were made to do the steps several times to pass. Very hands on for an online course. The in-class teacher was also extremely personable and put any anxieties I had about doing things correctly at ... ease. I left with the confidence that I could do this if I needed to and I would know what to do. Thank you!

Great foundation to understand the techniques
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.ACSK856 years agoI found the pre-work online portion to be very useful. It was detailed, interactive and really taught the techniques well. Once we got in person, it made the hands on portion much easier and solidified the knowledge well. My only negative about the course was that, while the instructor was good, he had an incredibly strong accent that made it difficult to understand a lot of what was being talked about. If I hadn't done the pre-work, I would not have understood much.
