Take a Red Cross CPR Class

Red Cross CPR Training
American Red Cross CPR classes are designed for the way you live, and learn. With options available on weekdays and weekends, plus online, instructor-led and blended learning course formats, you can get the CPR training you need on your schedule. From personalized learning to interactive scenarios to peer-to-peer learning and hands-on skills practice, our world-class instruction will give you the skills and confidence to perform this life-saving procedure when it's needed the most.

Performing CPR
When it comes to CPR, it's important to know how to treat both kids and adults. That's why, unless you sign up for a class that focuses on one population, our CPR trainings cover the procedures/steps for caring for adults, as well as children. Although we will prepare you to deliver care when it's needed most, the truth is, if you don't use your skills regularly, you're likely to lose them. So, to help prevent or mitigate loss of skills we offer online refresher materials that can help you retain the knowledge you've gained. In addition, we also provide you with access to a printable list of the basic steps for performing CPR. This way, you can keep the information you need right at your fingertips.

By far the most memorable training!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Hadrey6 years agoI’ve had to keep up CPR training for several years for work, but this was my first time using Red Cross - and I will never use a different source for training now! The online course was so repetitive, while placing you in many different realistic scenarios - and the interactive course trainer was so personable and made sure all students were worked with individually. This has been the first course that I feel remarkably confident that I can remember every vital step in an emergency scenario!

Great Class
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Bjmyangel6 years agoClassroom portion was a combined class for Adult CPR/AED, Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED, as well as Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid. Each participant was released at the end of their specific class if they did not take the full Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid class. The instructor was very good, gave clear instruction, and had a great personality. That sure makes classroom time go quickly! The online portion was quick and well done.

Great Class but Slightly Strange Format
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Nicole44813 years agoThe class was great and they fit a lot of information into a short amount of time. I felt a lot more confident in my knowledge and abilities after the class. My only issue with the class is that I took the Adult First Aid/CPR/AED class but the in-person skills class also included the children's section so I had to sit through some information that I wasn't getting certified for. It wasn't a big deal but it seems like they should have put that information at the end so those who didn't need that ... information could leave early.

Awesome Instructor!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.A aron 753 years agoI attended the Skills Session on January 24th in Minneapolis. The instructor was phenomenal! He went above and beyond just the skills and explained in detail WHY things are done the way they are. It was also helpful that he had real-world experience in the medical field and has been emergency situations. I was required to attend this training for my job and was not enthused about going, however, it turned out to be extremely interesting and I would recommend this training to anyone!

Great experience
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.DarlinKitty553 years agoI had no clue what to experience. The instructor was professional, gloves, masks and hand sanitizer were provided as well as individual dummies for everyone enrolled. I was only there for the CPR/AED session, so I didn't get to experience the First Aid course, but the experience was great. It kept my attention, the slides and videos were quick and engaging. I really liked the hands-on portion. I will definitely take this course again in 2 years and look forward to it.

Learning to Save a Life
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.CancerWarrior4 years agoWhile you hope you never need it, CPR/AED training is insurance just in case the need arises. Melanie was the instructor for our class and made 3 hours vanish it went by so quickly! She talked to us not at us, asked questions about our experience and why we wanted to learn. She helped those who might not grasp the concept as quickly, but was always helpful and supportive! She is friendly and knowledgeable about what she teaches and enjoys the personal interaction with her students. She is most ... definitely in the right place doing the right job!

Excellent instructor!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.TaylorK2 months agoThe class was very thorough. I've taken this course multiple times as I've been an early childhood educator for 20 years and the instructor was hands down the most relatable, enjoyable, easy to follow instructor I've ever had. The class was enjoyable I felt like I learned a lot he was very respectful when answering questions people had and he was thorough to make sure that everybody had a full understanding of what they needed to do and went. I've probably taken this course 15 times minimum and ... he's definitely been the best instructor I've ever had. He is a credit to your establishment.

Great experience!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Caroline223 years agoHe did a great job teaching and did a thorough description of the steps. He didn’t rush through the practice and made sure everyone knew what they were doing before moving on. Although, maybe consider using less videos and more hands-on work.

No regrets
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Julie W3 weeks agoMy son and I completed the CPR/AED course last week. My son needed the certification for his job, and I wanted to take it just for the practice. The building was easy to get to with easy parking. The course was 2 hours and 15 minutes. In that short amount of time we learned so much. There was a mix of videos, discussion time, and hands on practice. The instructor was nice and easy going, and we felt comfortable contributing and asking questions. I highly recommend this class.
