Performing First Aid
At the Red Cross, first aid training prepares you to provide care to children, adults, and pets during times of crisis. However, like many things, if you don't use your skills frequently, they're easy to forget. That's why, when you take our first aid certification classes, you'll also receive free online access to our first aid refreshers and a printable list of the basic steps for performing first aid. This way, you can practice your skills regularly, and keep reminders in the places you might need them most, like in the first aid kit in your car, home, or desk.

Excellent class.

I will recommend my company to send everybody to this class. The teacher was excellent and she kept the class moving. I did not get bored.

It got me to focus and pay attention and this is what I need in this hectic world. I would like to make this a yearly event. I’m trying to renter the workforce, possibly taking classes. So this was an excellent start to see how nervous I might be! Thank you so much Salvation Army.

First Aid/AED/CPR course
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.One Eye Dog4 years agoMy husband and I recently attended the above course given by the Red Cross in St Petersburg, FL. Our instructor was terrific, articulate and extremely knowledgeable. He shared the information quickly in a manner that made time fly. Our day began at 9:00 am and ended at 3:00 p.m. including a lunch break. We had our certificates of completion before we even made it home! We also live on a power catamaran and cruise full time. Having the appropriate first aid tools are vital. We knew most ... of the information, but learned better techniques on how to apply our knowledge.

In order to recertify in time, I registered for the online class. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was impressed. The "Missions" were well done, and I was able to watch them a second time for reinforcement. I then went for my in-person skills testing. My instructor was great. She reviewed the highlights and ran us through a practice run before we tested. I am happy to recommend this class.

Great experienced nurse showing real life examples
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Arunas5 days agoTrainer was experienced-had personal experience with people saving and caring activities. Classroom was big and well organized. Classroom is located in nice Phoenix are of Camelback Rd and 32 st. Needed this training for work, glad i did it. Surely worth doing at least once in 2 years for how long certificate is good. Communication and access was easy.

Love the Blended Learning option!

What I needed refreshers on was easily explained via the online portion but the skills in person portion was the best part. The instructor gave awesome scenarios of potential situations to assist participants not only skill building, but also how we may react quickly in a real situation. Highly recommend this course and the instructor!

Really informative
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.MH284 years agoI did the adult and infant CPR/first aid/AED class. I was nervous to go because I have zero experience with any of those things. By the end of the class I had not only gained a lot of information but had practiced a lot of the skills and felt confident that I would be able to help in an emergency situation. The instructor also informed the class about an app that we can use to keep up on our skills which is also really helpful. Overall, I'm very happy that I went to the class.
