Easy Bridging to Become
a Red Cross Instructor
Do you or your Instructors, Instructor Trainers and/or Training Center Faculty hold a current Instructor certification from a comparable training organization such as the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Health & Safety Institute (HSI)? If so, it’s easy to bridge to American Red Cross training courses.
1. Register for the appropriate bridge.
2. Fill out the online form and submit it with the required credentials.
3. Review program materials for the course.
4. Take the free online Instructor bridge course. No in-person class is required.
Easy Crossover or Reentry Courses to become a Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor
Do you have Instructors and/or Instructor Trainers certified with another equivalent training program and interested in teaching Red Cross Lifeguarding Programs? It’s easy to get trained by completing an abbreviated blended learning crossover course designed for Instructors to achieve Red Cross instructor certification to teach. For more information, visit the Instructor Candidates Page on the Red Cross Learning Center.

Great Features, easy to follow
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Gibby68864 years agoI did this class as a Instructor Bridge Over from AHA Instructor. Also completed the BLS, First Aid/CPR/AED, and CPR/AED. I understand completing all the classes, but once I down load the AHA Instructor Credentials, I feel this should only be done once, not every class. Besides, I had to have a sign in and password before I could start. I didn't have to develop a new one for all three classes I took as a Bridge Over. With my account I feel the information should be saved to my account so it ... does not take as long to complete the requirements for the Bridge Over

The course was well-structured, combining theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on training. It not only enhanced my CPR skills but also gave me the tools and confidence to effectively teach others. The instructor was amazing and made the day go by fast with making learning fun and keeping everyone involved and on their toes!

The instructor had a way of putting the class at ease, which I think made it easier for us to be comfortable in the setting to get hand-on experience with the class. Thank you! PS... I also remembered to get affiliated! ;) This was an ongoing joke in the class to not forget.

I have been BLS (or equivalent) certified for at least 12 years and this course put together my previous experience and knowledge and made me very comfortable to teach it in the future.
