Red Cross lifeguarding and water safety courses are taught year-round by trained professionals in Colorado to help you gain the skills and confidence necessary for providing care and instruction when it's needed the most. A blended training option (online + in-person) is available. To become a lifeguard, students must be at least 15 years old by the last day of class and pass a pre-course swimming skills test. After passing the requirements, you will receive a lifeguard certification that is valid for the following 2 years.
