CPR Training with Red Cross

By far the most memorable training!

I’ve had to keep up CPR training for several years for work, but this was my first time using Red Cross - and I will never use a different source for training now! The online course was so repetitive, while placing you in many different realistic scenarios - and the interactive course trainer was so personable and made sure all students were worked with individually. This has been the first course that I feel remarkably confident that I can remember every vital step in an emergency scenario!

Instructor and Training Were Great!

I didn't know what to expect when I signed up for this course because of how Covid has really changed the way we do almost everything. So I was worried it would be more video instruction and not so much hands on. I actually really ended up loving the video modules followed by the in class instruction. Great training! Hands-on and informative

The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED class was extremely helpful and informative. Our instructor kept things moving, but also took the time to answer all of our questions. The videos are clear and informative and the chance to practice these safety skills on the 'dummies' with appropriate equipment is invaluable. I know I will remember how do use these procedures much better after practicing them than if I had only read about them or watched a video.

A fun class

I have taken many CPR/1st Aid classes over the years, and this was the best one yet. The instructor was very knowledgeable and broke it down for us telling us the most important things to remember. She kept the class on track so we could finish on time. Having a smaller class that I got to practice the skills with a partner was very helpful.

Very knowledgeable instructor

At the start of class I was a little frustrated as the instructor was late. She was caught up in an accident and I’m very understanding and let that go. There was a few women that came together with a toddler. It was very distracting. The instructor handled the situation in a professional manner and made every one happy. She definitely had obstacles in her way but was able to teach thoroughly and quickly to get us out on time. Insightful and practical training

I learned a lot from this training. I hope that I am not required to use the training but I feel confident that if the need arises I am much better prepared than I was to help. I discovered that I didn't know the basics for example when to and when not to use CPR. I found the Check Call Care approach logical and I am sure it has saved lives. And the SAMPLE checklist is very helpful. There is a lot to remember from this short course. Our instructor was wonderful - patient and professional.

Ian is a great Instructor!

This class was the most informative and hands-on CPR/First Aid Class I have ever taken. Ian, my instructor made it fun and helped make sure I was able to master all the practical skills.

Everything from registering for the appointment, communications about the appointment and the class itself were very efficient. The instructor Virginia Marchant was excellent keeping the session moving along while covering everything and answering all of the questions as the came up.

CPR/AED blended class

I enjoyed my blended CPR/AED class. Taking the online portion was informative. I enjoyed that I could take it without interuptions in the comfort of my home. The in-class portion was really great! I put into action what we learned online, and reviewed in class. Our instructor was outstanding. She explained, and tested us just so we performed just like in the videos. I feel confident that I can assist anyone in distress using the skills I learned. Thank you Red Cross!

Educational CPR Session

The classroom portion went well and had a good pace to it. The instructor kept everyone informed and made sure we were all comfortable with the content. The online portion was simple. The videos and instructions were concise.
