Performing CPR
When it comes to CPR, it's important to know how to treat both kids and adults. That's why, unless you sign up for a class that focuses on one population, our CPR trainings cover the procedures/steps for caring for adults, as well as children. Although we will prepare you to deliver care when it's needed most, the truth is, if you don't use your skills regularly, you're likely to lose them. So, to help prevent or mitigate loss of skills we offer online refresher materials that can help you retain the knowledge you've gained. In addition, we also provide you with access to a printable list of the basic steps for performing CPR. This way, you can keep the information you need right at your fingertips.

Great experience

The instructor was professional, gloves, masks and hand sanitizer were provided as well as individual dummies for everyone enrolled. I was only there for the CPR/AED session, so I didn't get to experience the First Aid course, but the experience was great. It kept my attention, the slides and videos were quick and engaging. I really liked the hands-on portion. I will definitely take this course again in 2 years and look forward to it.

Melanie was the instructor for our class and made 3 hours vanish it went by so quickly! She talked to us not at us, asked questions about our experience and why we wanted to learn. She helped those who might not grasp the concept as quickly, but was always helpful and supportive! She is friendly and knowledgeable about what she teaches and enjoys the personal interaction with her students. She is most ... definitely in the right place doing the right job!

I was able to purchase the online and in person review together online and get it all done in less than a week! The online portion was quick and simple, easy to understand and great review, and the in-person portion was also quick and simple, while being effective at preparing me and helping me feel confident in an emergency. We were shown what to do and got multiple times to practice to make sure we were doing it correctly. I thought I would be intimated because this was something I was kind of nervous about doing, but it was fun! I would definitely take this class here in the future again. One thing though: the class may go on longer than expected. I would suggest not making a tight schedule, allow a half-hour more than expected. Otherwise great!

Just what I needed
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.QIZU4 years agoI'm required to stay up-to-date on certification in AED/CPR/FA for my job, and since my job wasn't allowed to do our normal in-person trainings this year due to COVID, we were all on our own. The online class followed by the 1-year provisional in-person class ended up being perfect for me. Everything I needed to review was covered, and in a way I could easily understand. The instructor for the in-person class was a little cranky at first, but it was early in the morning, so no judgement. He ... ended up covering everything we needed to know very professionally once we actually got started.

First Aid/AED/CPR course

Our instructor was terrific, articulate and extremely knowledgeable. He shared the information quickly in a manner that made time fly. Our day began at 9:00 am and ended at 3:00 p.m. including a lunch break. We had our certificates of completion before we even made it home! We also live on a power catamaran and cruise full time. Having the appropriate first aid tools are vital. We knew most ... of the information, but learned better techniques on how to apply our knowledge.

Instructor and Training Were Great!
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.StephRiv4 years agoI didn't know what to expect when I signed up for this course because of how Covid has really changed the way we do almost everything. So I was worried it would be more video instruction and not so much hands on. I actually really ended up loving the video modules followed by the in class instruction. Our instructor was very articulate in explaining the CPR and AED procedure. And, yes, you do get to practice with a "dummy". I think that the instructor made something that can be mundane an ... enjoyable and memorable experience.

The interactive and informative online portion that I completed made me more comfortable and confident with the necessary information prior to attending the in person session. The instructor was extremely educated on the topic and answered all questions we had. Her humor and questions made the course more engaging than a typical CPR course. The CPR mouth covering keychain we received at the end was also a plus that I appreciated, ... especially during a pandemic.

She was confident and well spoken and you can tell she truly loves what she does and that what she teaches is important to her. This made our 5 hour class a breeze! I would recommend anybody and everybody take this class.

Comprehensive experience with some AV problems

At first, wished there was a shorter in-person training for pediatric only. However, after completing the training, we were very happy to complete the adult as well. Only downside was issues with the audiovisual system. For the price, there should have been better back up.
