Performing CPR

Performing CPR

When it comes to CPR, it's important to know how to treat both kids and adults. That's why, unless you sign up for a class that focuses on one population, our CPR trainings cover the procedures/steps for caring for adults, as well as children. Although we will prepare you to deliver care when it's needed most, the truth is, if you don't use your skills regularly, you're likely to lose them. So, to help prevent or mitigate loss of skills we offer online refresher materials that can help you retain the knowledge you've gained. In addition, we also provide you with access to a printable list of the basic steps for performing CPR. This way, you can keep the information you need right at your fingertips.

American Red Cross CPR Course Reviews

Amazing visuals, outstanding explanations

I came into the Adult First Aid/CPR/AED training already knowing most of the information, since I have already taken the course before. I very much appreciated the quick quiz I could do if I already knew the material. It helped me see what I was very good at, and what I needed more focus on. It was also very helpful when I did get a question wrong, it would explain in great detail why it was wrong, and what would be correct in the situation. The videos were very helpful, the situations were very realistic so you could see what an actual situation would look like, and not just textbook information on what to do.

Exceptional Instructor, Engaging & Informative!

I had an excellent experience completing my Adult First Aid/CPR/AED skills training with Ian! He was knowledgeable, professional, patient, and incredibly engaging throughout the entire session. Ian has a wonderful ability to make important, potentially lifesaving information both educational and entertaining. His thoughtful approach created a comfortable learning environment where participants could ask questions, practice their skills, and feel confident in what they were learning. My only constructive feedback concerns the delayed start of the class, which was through no fault of Ian's. Unfortunately, some participants arrived unprepared to provide verification that they had completed the required online portion of the training. This caused an unnecessary delay that could have been avoided with clearer reminders or verification requirements before attending the in-person skills session. Despite this minor inconvenience, Ian handled everything with professionalism and maintained a positive, welcoming atmosphere. His enthusiasm, patience, and dedication to ensuring that everyone understood the material truly made the experience worthwhile. I would absolutely recommend this training, especially with Ian as the instructor. He is a tremendous asset to the program, and I walked away feeling more knowledgeable, prepared, and confident in my ability to respond to an emergency. Five stars for Ian!
