When an emergency strikes, do you know what to do? Come learn with Pedro! Prepare with Pedro is a 30- to 45-minute preparedness education program for grades K-3 that teaches students how to BE PREPARED and TAKE ACTION for either home fires or a local hazard.
During the presentation, students learn a coping skill and receive a storybook to share what they have learned at home.
In addition to our presentation, we have a wide variety of additional complementary resources for Prepare with Pedro. These resources include videos, activity books, games, songs, and more!
Watch Pedro the Penguin learn how to stay safe during emergencies and more with our Red Cross Kids Videos playlist on YouTube!
We are proud to partner with FEMA to bring you the Prepare with Pedro: Disaster Preparedness Activity Book in 6 different languages! Please visit ready.gov/kids/prepare-pedro to download or order this resource.
